Friends of Soho is a registered 501c4 in New York State
The SoHo, Tribeca and Chinatown neighborhoods will all be directly impacted by the planned shelter on Canal and Wooster for 200 homeless men (not including any of the street homeless already present with limited to no consistent support in these neighborhoods). Everyone has a vested interest in ensuring the best outcome possible. As this project does not require a formal public review process, we have to subject it to legal action to ensure the community's concerns are addressed appropriately.
Sequoia Property Management has opened a segregated bank account for Friends of SoHo to handle all funds, which will solely be used to support the objectives of Friends of SoHo.
